This area was specifically opened to tourism after two decades of cheetah conservation efforts, making it a prime location for big cat sightings.

    • Cheetah: Thanks to dedicated conservation, cheetah sightings, including hunts, are frequent and often spectacular. Guests can sometimes even spend an informative evening with a resident cheetah researcher.
    • Lion & Leopard: Healthy populations of lions (including large prides) and leopards are regularly sighted, often resting on the kopjes or hunting on the open plains.
